Losing weight while taking Seroquel.

Losing weight and keeping it off, does taking pills that you need to take that cause weight gain make it all worthless?

That is the main question. I currently take Seroquel, two times a night which equals 600 milligrams every night, along with 450 milligrams of Lithium. The other pills aren’t known for causing weight-gain, but I do know that Seroquel does and Lithium does as well, Lithium also can cause loss of hair.. But thankfully, I have a lot of hair so even if I lose some it wouldn’t matter much.

Some people say losing weight while taking Seroquel is almost impossible — and recommend that you stop taking it.

Wait. Just. One. Second.

You won’t be able to stop taking it if you’re like me. You need Seroquel to help you sleep, it aids you in your insomnia. You’ve tried to taper off, and the consequences were some pretty ugly Bipolar episodes.

People forget Seroquel is a major anti-psychotic. It isn’t like not taking your vitamins.. Vitamins don’t change your brain waves and how it processes information.

Now from doing some research multiple people say that if you work-out every day, and change your diet, you should be able to lose some weight.

I’ve found an interesting weight-loss program, it’s called SkinnyMint. You take detoxifying tea in the morning and in the evening, it’s supposed to help with belly fat too. It costs $58 dollars a month, with free shipping. So I will try this out! I’m hoping it works, the testimonies are helpful because it looks like it isn’t fake. I’m just glad it’s not more pill-popping.

I will let you guys know how it goes, I am a personal fan of tea so I’m really hoping this helps! There’s nothing worse than having sugar cravings.. And being Bipolar, you have ALOT of it.
